    Our High Point 100 decaf coffee is processed at Descafecol, the only decaffeination plant in the Andean region of Colombia. The process uses pure water from the Navado el Ruis and natural ethyl acetate from sugar cane plants. The beans are steamed, moistened with hot water, and then the ethyl acetate solvent is circulated through the beans multiple times until at least 97% of the caffeine is removed. Finally, the beans are vacuum-dried and polished with carnauba wax to protect against humidity.
