I’ve been searching for a smooth, great tasting coffee forever and this is the first one that truly checks every box. I’ve tried local roasters and even ordered from out of state but they all had that bitter aftertaste I just couldn’t get past. This blend is incredibly smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced..no bitterness at all! It’s so easy to drink and honestly makes my mornings that much better. You can really taste the quality. Amazing coffee as always. Been over 10 years but was finally able to get over to San Diego and check our the shops in person again. Little Italy shop was still under construction but the other locations were great and the coffee was bar none best ive had anywhere. They make a mean Cortado!!

Found out about James coffee when walking by their storefront in San Diego, the fragrance of their superb roast made me stop in my tracks. Their shop blend is my go to for at home espresso! The notes are so strong and accurately identified with strong nuttiness.

I love this shop blend! I've been a fan of James Coffee for about five years now, ever since I visited them in San Diego while living in LA. It’s tough to make the trip, but I’m always happy to have their blend shipped to me monthly. It’s such a great and versatile choice for every day. I recommend it to pretty much everyone who enjoys a traditional coffee profile with a touch of modern flavors.

I first tasted your coffee at my daughter’s house in San Diego, OMG so good, even without sugar just oat milk. My daughter’s boyfriend gave me a bag for Christmas since then I’ve bought several bags since then.

Recently found James Coffee Co and I am hooked! Solid coffee! I never wanted to run out so I subscribed, it’s THAT good.
The Shop Blend & White Owl are 2 of my favorites coffees period. I’ve been experimenting with grind size and brew methods. I’ve found that they are both great pour over coffees as well as ridiculously good at making delicious, fat pots of coffee. Spot on taste descriptions on the bags.
The shop blend is the staple Coffee in our home, always fresh and delivered quickly. There are not many coffee brands that can be consistent with roasting and provide a quality bean without being overly priced. I recommend James to anyone looking for a great coffee for your morning cup.

Doesn’t beat this for a killer morning cup. The night owl is also wonderful through the espresso machine or a moka pot. 10/10.

Love the shop blend for our everyday drinking. Works perfectly when finely ground for the stovetop Bialetti maker. We travel to San Diego and found James coffee via google reviews - we live in Boston, and only drink espresso!

I first tried this coffee after my brother in law brought some to the family beach trip after his girlfriend had gotten it when out in Cali. My husband made me some in a French press to try, and it was delicious! I had it every morning during our week at the beach and looked forward to it each day. I made sure to take a picture of the package so that I could look it up when we got back home and order some more. I ended up ordering several different kinds and have been happy with each one of them. I will definitely order again!

Like anyone who comes here I drink A TON of coffee. This is my favorite go to coffee for all day coffee drinking. Anyone who is considering placing an order, be sure to grab a bag of this. It is exponentially better than the big box stores that I won’t name which usually sells coffee that is over roasted. The details On the back of the packaging of James coffee is helpful as I try to gain more knowledge of what I am drinking. In addition, this James coffee shop blend is what I make for people when they come over to my house and say they love coffee us usually this blows their mind. Keep up the good work, James coffee!!

Shop Blend is my go-to. Roasted just right. A lot of coffee companies over-roast their medium roasts in my opinion, but not James Coffee Co. - they do it just right.
